Civic Trees operates on a national basis from Radlett, Hertfordshire.
Founded in 1963, Civic Trees pioneered the UK market in the supply & planting of large mature trees and also made commercial tree moving a viable business, investing heavily in bespoke machinery to allow for the largest trees to be relocated at a competitive cost.
Civic Trees have an annual value in excess of £1.5 million, delivering various projects nationwide.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The following is typical of the duties an Administrator will be expected to perform. It is not necessarily exhaustive and other duties of a similar nature and level may be required from time to time.
Office administration and support for Senior Management as required
Responsibility for H.R administration and support for the managers - setting up all new employees with the correct documentation and ensuring the HR files are maintained and updated with all relevant documentation in line with the HR policies and procedures
Update social media with relevant content
Update company website as and when required
Administering the weekly payroll, ensuring the wages sheet is free from variances and resolve errors within payroll deadline
Maintain the holiday tracker, ensuring associates do not take over their accrued entitlement
Chase Aged Debt where necessary
Inputting timesheets, ensuring accuracy at all times
To provide reception cover for the Contract ensuring telephones are answered promptly and directed to the correct department
Complete weekly HAV reports - Collate information from staff each month and compile statistical reports
Raising and receiving purchase orders
Invoicing
Filing and organisation of paperwork
To undertake other duties as may reasonably required
Qualifications, skills and experience
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate a proven track record of administration.
Strong organisational and IT skills are required along with excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a professional, confident telephone manner.
