Glendale provides significant countryside contracting services across the South of the UK and seeks an enthusiastic assistant manager to support the delivery of these services to the across Cornwall. Services include woodland and estates management, vegetation management, fencing and tree surgery.
Based at our offices in Launceston, the successful candidate will be a proactive manager who will be able to develop and deliver operational, financial and commercial management.
This is a hands-on role and candidate should be qualified in woodland or countryside management with a minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in a similar role and hold a UK driver's licence. Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards, whilst maintaining tight control of costs, programming and monitoring of work are all pivotal to the role. In addition, you will need good time management and administrative skills, display good people management, and have excellent communication skills.
