Contract Administrator

Salary: £13.85 per hour 

Hours: 20 hours per week / 4 hours per day Location: Kingston upon Thames, KT1 3GZ

Glendale is looking for a disciplined and detail-oriented Contract Administrator to join our management team in Elmbridge and Kingston. Reporting to the Contract Managers, you will be the engine room of our local operations, ensuring that our people are paid on time, our debts are collected and our administrative systems run with precision.

Key Responsibilities

  • HR & Payroll: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of our employees, from onboarding documentation to weekly payroll. You will be responsible for eliminating variances and ensuring 100% accuracy ahead of deadlines.

  • Finance & Credit Control: Take ownership of invoicing and aged debt. You will proactively chase outstanding payments to maintain healthy cash flow.

  • Purchasing & Logistics: Source competitive quotes and manage the purchase order system (E5) to ensure the team has the resources they need.

  • Reporting: Collate monthly data from the field to produce statistical reports that drive informed management decisions.

  • Reception & Admin: Act as the first point of contact for the contract, handling enquiries with professionalism and keeping our physical and digital filing systems impeccably organised.

 

About You

You are someone who finds satisfaction in the marginal gains—the small, daily improvements to a process that lead to long-term efficiency.

  • System Minded: You should be comfortable with Google Workspace, HR software (PXD) and financial spreadsheets.

  • Communication: You possess a confident telephone manner and can translate complex data into clear, concise updates.

  • Detail-Oriented: You don’t just check work; you ensure it is right the first time.

  • Collaborative: You enjoy being part of a team that manages the UK’s essential green spaces.
