National role - Travel to Head Office in Chorley essential 

40 Hours 

Salary - £75K to £100K dependent on experience

The Opportunity

 

  • Lead strategic and cultural change in how the business sells, bids for, and wins work in growth and private-sector markets

  • Develop and deliver revenue and profit growth strategies aligned with the company’s growth plans

  • Build and expand strong client relationships across target sectors and group businesses

  • Champion a proactive, high-performance sales culture across the organisation

  • Work closely with the CEO and senior leadership team to identify and deliver new revenue opportunities

  • Lead, develop, and motivate high-performing sales and bidding teams

  • Drive innovation in customer-focused solutions to improve win rates and market penetration

  • Take accountability for sales performance, pipeline management, pricing, and forecasting

  • Lead the adoption of systems and processes to improve efficiency and results

  • Promote excellent customer service and maintain competitive advantage

The Person

  • A competitive desire and hunger to win, to learn analytically from losses and motivate the team to future success

  • Strong motivator with an engaging and positive personality

  • Excellent communication and people management skills

  • A natural influencer, able to relate easily and effectively to every level of the organisation

  • Enthusiastic and energetic personality

  • A hands on attitude

  • Self motivated and hard working; prepared to work unsociable hours as required

  • Very organised, with the ability to multitask varying demands

  • Excellent attention to detail, effective written communicator

  • Problem solver, analytical in their approach

  • Ability and willingness to travel (driving licence essential)

Qualifications

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent

  • Advanced professional certifications in sales or customer service advantageous

  • Senior business leadership qualifications are not essential but desirable.
