Fixed Term Grounds Maintenance Operative | Kingston Upon Thames

Fixed Term Contract - March - October 

Full Time 40 hours (7.00am - 3.30pm)

£13.85ph (London Living Wage rising in May)

While experience with grounds maintenance or machinery is a plus, it isn't essential. If you have the right mindset, we will train you to be the best in the business.

Applicants who hold a full, clean driving licence and have experience of driving light commercial vehicles are preferred. 

A Glimpse into the Role Awaiting You

As part of our Kingston Upon Thames team, you’ll be responsible for keeping the borough’s green spaces looking their best. Your day-to-day will involve:

  • Grass cutting and strimming.

  • Hedge trimming and shaping.

  • Maintaining shrub beds and weeding.

  • Keeping pathways and public areas tidy and litter-free.

  • Operating professional grounds equipment (with full training and support).
