Framework Manager (Projects/Arboriculture)  

South West

Glendale successfully delivers in excess of £6m p.a. of arboriculture, vegetation management, clearance and landscaping works across the Southwest for various clients under DPS and frameworks. 

Projects include; 

  • Large-scale tree clearance through mechanical means

  • Plot maintenance and grass cutting

  • Tree removal and arboricultural services

  • Access clearance

  • Outfall management

  • Silt and island management

  • Habitat creation and aftercare

The Opportunity

As a pivotal member of the regional delivery team, you will collaborate with a team of six delivery managers, reporting directly to the Head of Arboriculture - West. This role necessitates a highly capable people manager who is able to work independently, adhering to precise client specifications, and resolving issues while upholding the principles of a contemporary, transparent, and forward-thinking company centred on customer needs.

The successful candidate will be based in Launceston, Exeter, Weston-super-Mare, or Bath, with hybrid working options available. We seek a proactive manager demonstrating robust financial and commercial acumen.

This is a hands-on role involving the collation and management of KPIs, finance, quality, and performance data, requiring prompt and effective action to maintain quality, compliance, and client satisfaction. You will assume full responsibility for the key performance aspects of all frameworks to meet the needs of the stakeholders. A working knowledge of CDM/NEC/JCT contracts would be advantageous.

The Person

The candidate should be experienced in arboriculture, vegetation management and/or landscaping with a minimum of 3 years of operational/accounts/client management experience and hold a UK driver's licence. Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards, programming is pivotal to the role. In addition, you will need excellent attention to detail and administrative skills, display good people management, and have a disciplined approach to routine tasks.
