THE OPPORTUNITY

This is an opportunity to work in the outdoors and contribute to the maintenance of open spaces and the care of green spaces across South Tyneside.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a keen interest in horticulture to join the largest specialist green service provider in the UK.  Duties will include hedge trimming, clearing leaves, shrub bed maintenance, sweeping, garden clearance and litter as required.

THE PERSON

• Qualification demonstrating sound literacy and numeracy skills (e.g. GCSE English and maths grade 4 or above) are essential

• You will need to be flexible, reliable and trustworthy with a can-do attitude

• The candidate must ensure that health and safety regulations are followed at all times

• The candidate must also be able to clearly identify and meet the requirements of Glendale’s customers

• A full clean driving licence is desirable for this position

• Good time management skills and the ability to work in a demanding environment

• They will understand and subscribe to the importance of working as a team
