This is an outstanding career opportunity with a market leader providing green services to private and public sector businesses.
We are seeking a Team Leader to work in our grounds maintenance team based in Watford.
This is a Full-time position and the candidate will be required to work 40 hours a week.
Assisting the Contract Manager and Supervisor in the effective management of the programmed maintenance
Motivation and guidance of the able workforce of the Service Delivery Team
Monitoring staff timekeeping, holidays, and sickness
Proactively leading by example, especially in H&S issues
Maintenance and enforcement of security of vehicle, plant, and equipment
Enforcement of the quality and customer care ethics through the workforce Maintaining workforce discipline
To complete necessary daily check sheets and paperwork involved with the smooth running operations.
Candidates should be well organised, and have skills in grounds maintenance operations. Furthermore, they need to possess excellent leadership ability, enthusiasm, excellent people management, and communication skills. A horticultural qualification and a good understanding of Microsoft Office / Google systems would be preferred but not essential. A Full Driving Licence is essential and PA1- PA6a Spraying Certificate is preferred.
